The future is in the hands of the next generation. These young adults should have the sky as their limit and not be burdened with financial hardships just to receive an education. This is why Wabash is proud to offer scholarships to local high school seniors.
The application window is now closed. Application materials will be posted here when they are available and will be announced in our quarterly newsletters. The application window is usually December-February.

Wabash Awards Scholarship to Local Students
Wabash Mutual Telephone Company recently awarded six $500 scholarships to local high school students furthering their education after graduation. The students are children of the cooperative’s members and were selected as recipients based on their academics, plans for higher education and community activities.
Wabash began the scholarship program in 2005 as a way to invest in the future of the communities and give back to its members.
This year, the recipients include: Ryan Braun of Fort Recovery, son of Tom and Lisa Braun; Lauren Bruns of Coldwater, daughter of Andy and Jenny Bruns; Natalie Pottkotter of Fort Recovery, daughter of Joe and the late Marie Pottkotter; Hannah Rasawehr of Celina, daughter of Pam Rasawehr; Lilly Vagedes of Coldwater, daughter of Frank and Carol Vagedes; and Joseph Welsch of Coldwater, son of Ben and Linda Welsch.
Wabash commends the extraordinary talent of each applicant of this year’s scholarship. With the largest applicant pool to date, Wabash wishes each of them every success in their educational pursuits.
