Fiber Construction Supervisor

Wabash is seeking a skilled and experienced Fiber Construction Supervisor to join our team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and construction of fiber optic outside plant projects.

Responsibilities include:
– Supervise the FTTH construction of outside plant projects.
– Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications and safety guidelines.
– Provide leadership and work alongside in-house crew.
– Ensure availability of resources for project executions including labor, materials and equipment.
– Manage scope changes during construction and take necessary corrective actions.
– Promote a culture of safety and enforce safety protocols on project sites.
– Understand and follow company policy.
– Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
– Be available to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, overtime and emergency work as needed.

Qualifications:
– Valid driver’s license and good driving record. CDL is a plus.
– Experience in fiber outside plant construction and knowledge of standards and regulations.
– Previous experience supervising a construction crew is preferred.
– Strong understanding of construction practices, project planning, and resource management.
– Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
– Ability to walk, stand, sit, crawl, stoop, crouch, climb, and balance.
– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
– Ability to work in all weather conditions.
